“Teos mittaa kasvin sähkönjohtavuutta ja muuttaa lukemat ääniksi. Äänistä syntyy virtaava melodia kasvin aineenvaihdunnan mukaan. Mittaus tapahtuu hieman samalla periaatteella kuin EEG-kuvauksissa mitataan aivojen sähköistä toimintaa. Teokseen voi osallistua koskettamalla sensoria ja kuulla miltä omasta kehosta lähtevä ääni kuulostaa
ja miten se soi yhdessä kasvin kanssa.”

“The work measures the electrical
conductivity of a plant and converts the readings into sounds. The sounds as a flowing melody is born from following the plant’s metabolism. The measuring works by somewhat the same principle as EEG scans measure the brain’s electrical activity. You can participate in the work by touching the sensors, and hear what kind of sounds your own body makes, and how they communicate with the sounds from the plant.”
